Jekyll's Kitchen - CHAGRIN FALLS

This is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The food is exceptional, the service is excellent, and the view outside is stunning. You can see a beautiful waterfall from the restaurant. Be sure to try the Grandma Biscuit (a homemade recipe), dynamite shrimp, and fish and chips; they are all fantastic. Our server was especially kind and engaged with my 10-month-old child, which we appreciated. Overall, I give this place a five-star rating!

In my previous review, I mentioned the consistently great food. I believe there's a new menu since my last visit. I had the juicy Sixty South Salmon Salad, which was superb, with the salmon perfectly cooked. However, the room was quite uncomfortable today; it was warm for the staff, and while I appreciated their efforts, the garage-style door was open, causing a cold draft to sweep over us for most of the evening. Several people at the bar nearby voiced their complaints about it. Overall, the food was still very good.

We sampled the deviled eggs, shrimp, calamari frites, chopped salad, chicken meatballs, and apple herbs. Everything was delicious, except for the meatballs, which could use some improvement. They seemed overcooked or steamed, lacking the true essence of a meatball. Additionally, the margarita was a bit on the bitter and sour side for our taste. Aside from those minor issues, everything else was extraordinary. The view and ambiance of the restaurant are truly exquisite!

I and my family loved our culinary experience on the 17 River Grille. We sat with a window view of the chagrin river waterfall, which was great. For drinks we ordered a few lemon drops and a Moscow mule. For appetizers we enjoyed the heavenly cookies with honey butter

First time dining here and it absolutely did not disappoint! Absolutely a gem in Chagrin Falls! Beautiful location on the river, wonderful ambiance and superb food! I was so happy that the evening special was a scallop entree. Without hesitation I went for it! Exceeded my expectations! Kudos to the chef and the wait staff. Absolutely top notch!!! Shout out to our Alex R for taking excellent care of us and the other friendly team members we encountered. We are looking forward to returning to this charming location and will request Alex in the future!
