Bidra med feedbackDinner there on Wednesday at 530. Restaurant was not super crowded, but a number of tables were not cleaned, so we had to wait for a table. Had her special pizza with local sausage and mushrooms that was very good. Also, her verde with Arugula, which was delicious, but the crust was a bit soggy. Beer was good. A solid choice for pizza.
What a treat in the heart of Chama, NM (in the middle of no where). The wood fired pizza was great! The crust is made from yeast with dough, which is obviously 34 years old. The brussel sprouts were a great compliment to the meat-sharpened pizza. This place seems pretty new and it's in the small town of Chama. They did a great work with the layout and decor. The outdoor fire pit was tidy.
I found this honey of a hole spot in Chama and I have to say I was delighted!!!! Completely blew me away that this place existed and it was at the start of the slow season in Chama. I did a pepperonis project here and ate here every night. Pizza 3 out of 4 nights. The Carne….add peppercinis(if u like them , 2 sides of ranch (maybe the best ranch I have ever consumed!!!!! and a side of parmesan!!!! The other meal was the steak special!!!! Absolutely amazing!!! The wine selection was extremely impressive and the staff was knowledgeable about the wines, beer selection solid too! Service 5 stars, staff personality 5 stars, food 5 stars, ambiance 5 stars! Great job by local….putting Chama on the map!!!! If you are passing through Chama this is a must stop!!! I put it in top 10 pizzas i have had and Ive had my share of pizza!!!! I’d like to see some green chile topping options on the menu….thats my one critique.
Great pizza... The crust was some of the tastiest I have had. Don't forget to try the strawberry shortbread yum!
