The Family Table - Chambersburg

My classmates and I ate in their meeting room for our lunch. the room was clean, clean and bright. comfortable air conditioning. all my classmates have been eating around her. I would recommend this restaurant for your next trip!

Really wanted to love this but it was just OK. Been looking for a restaurant in the area where you can get homestyle meals and thought this might be it. Tried it for the first time on Easter Sunday. Made the 25 minute drive to wait 10 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. Limited menu as they were doing a buffet for Easter. I had the buffet which was $22 per person which I don't have a problem with and don't think is too much if it's good quality. My disappointment is that for $22 dollars at a restaurant called The Family Table, I didn't expect to be eating canned corn, canned green beans, canned yams, and instant mashed potatoes. There were 4 different meats on the buffet and they were OK but not great. The chicken breasts, turkey, and roast beef were all a little on the dry side. The desserts were awful. Low quality pre-prepared brownies and cakes. There was plenty to eat, and it was warm from the buffet, but the quality and freshness of the food left much to be desired for the price. Won't go back.

Reasonable price, service was slow however there were 16 of us. We had to ask several times for coffee refill. Took some time to get everyone's food out to them and was cold by the time it was delivered but was very good tasting. Even after all that we would eat there again

Very good restaurant with a very good variety of food. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The Chesapeake fries were great! Also a decent variety of desserts. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was clean.
