Elmer's Tacos - Chandler

Elmer's Tacos is a highly renowned Mexican restaurant that has been family-owned since 1974. The food here is excellent! My son goes to Chandler High School right across the street, so we make sure to visit as often as we can to support this longstanding Chandler establishment. May God continue to bless the Elmer's family today, tomorrow, and always.

I didn't know how great this place was going to be, so I didn't take a photo before we devoured everything. The leftovers in the picture are all that's left because we almost finished everything. The restaurant is located in an old Taco Bell building, but inside is a friendly older woman who took our order and patiently answered all of our questions since it was our first visit. This family-owned restaurant is fantastic, and I rarely say that about Mexican restaurants outside of south Phoenix. The green chili fry bread was amazing, and the strips are a must-try as everyone orders them. The place was constantly packed with people coming in, and for good reason. While there are fancier new restaurants nearby, stopping here will not disappoint you. We will definitely be back!

The food at this restaurant is consistently tasty, but I recommend being cautious when ordering the crispy tacos. Unfortunately, they are quite small in size, more like street tacos, yet are priced as full-sized tacos. This was disappointing as they were the smallest tacos I have ever seen at a Mexican food restaurant.

Absolutely LOVE Elmers!!! It is so worth the extra fees. This was our first time having the Breakfast Burritos and both were fantastic and huge. You also cant go wrong with Bean and Cheese Mini Burros, and the Strips with Cheese. Highly Recommend!

Love Elmers! It is by far the best Mexican Food nearby! Cheese Enchiladas were delicious and well packed. We get Mini Burritos for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They re-heat great too for a late night snack. Dont forgot to add Strips with Cheese, they are a must-have!
