Empire Maddur - Channapatna

A nice stopover on Blr-Mysore highway at Madhur to taste you favourite Empre kebabs and other delicacies . The place is clean and the ambience is great. Good parking space and clean toilets. I love this olace

The restaurants in South India have a lot of catching up to do with their counterparts in the north in terms of hygiene and cleanliness, especially of the toilets. But not for this one. All amenities at Empire Restaurant were reasonably clean. The pricing could have been better. The tastes were good although the Naan could have been baked a tad bit crispier.

Empire Restaurants are Highway friendly hotels. With both Veg and Non veg options available separately. You get hygienic food, Service is fast, all day service and food availability, Choice of food's and importantly Clean Washroom's. Live counters are made attractive. Food for grab n go is available in form of short eats. Few shopping outlets are available for travellers. Spacious parking available. Service is available till 11pm.

I ordered grilled chicken salad. In the image it showed olives but when served, there was no olives and chicken was not grilled but fried. Neither was the description of food provided. Service has also Delaying due to less staff and more customers.

Great place for quick lunch or dinner. Staff was helpful and courteous. Best part is they don’t accept any tip nor expect it . However I enjoyed the strawberry pull me up at the Kolar outlet than the blueberry pull me up desert here. The kabab and ghee rice was good as usual . Going forward the entry to the restaurant may be a problem considering the fencing of the expressway. We just managed to park and walk across.
