Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Channelview

Absolutely zero soft skills in dealing with customers. Today I tried the drive-thru and the menu board was not on due to a storm two nights ago. The voice came over the speaker, What do you want? I explained that the menu board was not on, to which the voice replied, Yeh, it doesn 't work, what do you want? Is it even worth finishing this review? This is a waste of my time.

Went to this Popeyes today. I ordered 3 3 piece combos. One dark meat, one white meat, and one with three thighs. One with a Dr. Pepper and two with a coke. They proceeded to tell me they didn't have the dark meat in mild and it would take 15 minutes. I told them I would wait. Of course, after waiting 36 minutes instead of 15, I still did not receive the dark meat I asked for. Mind you, that was the whole reason I had to wait any way. Now, I've been calling for the past 10 minutes and no one answers.

I have always known Popeyes Chicken to be spicy and I don't care for spicy food anymore . I was real surprised when I asked if they served not spicy and she said yes.

Being a fan of this chain, I experimented and ordered the Surf and Turf, a large Red Beans and Rice, and a large unsweetened tea. I was disappointed to find 5 small shrimp, 2 chicken nuggets, and a biscuit in the box. While the red beans and rice were good and the iced tea acceptable, the size of the shrimp and number of nuggets were very disappointing for the expense of the meal! I do not mind paying for quality or quantity, but this meal had neither.

Don't listen to the bad reviews, they probably some karens and need to understand food takes time to make especially if there are few employees. I believe I went here 3 times and received nothing but good service. I have always seen someone new here and they have all been kind. Food quality is about any other Popeyes. I would say their Mac n cheese needs a little work but that's all. Great employees, expect to wait if you want good chicken. These guys are hammered with orders, be nice to the employees as they are nice to you.
