Melfi's - Charleston

I wouldn't give any stars if I could. My friends strongly advised against this place, and now I understand why. The food is disappointing for the price, and to make matters worse, it's far from authentic. I ordered the rigatoni, and it arrived tasteless and without any sauce. Even when I examined it more closely, it just looked unappetizing—truly awful. I also ordered a Negroni cocktail, which took 20 minutes to arrive and tasted more like cough medicine than anything else. I tried their classic gin and tonic as well, but it left me unimpressed. Honestly, I could have just had water and saved myself $20. Italian food should at least be delicious, but Melfi's is definitely on my list of Italian restaurants to avoid.

Did our time love Melfi? The food was excellent. The atmosphere was great. We could have been sitting there all night. Our server, I think his name was Johnny, was excellent. One of the best experiences I had through its relaxed nature and connection with us as guests. We ordered a lot of things and it was all good, but the plumber Dessert (not shown) is a must. I never had a dessert like it and could still have eaten it. I hope you enjoy Melfi?s as much as I do!

Hands down one of the best culinary experiences We had in Charleston for a while. From the unique taste combos, artistic cocktails, delicious deserts and 5 star service, we left in anticipation of our next visit. Recommendations: Osso Bucco, Grilled Branzino, Paccheri, CHOCOLATE CHERRY PUDDING and the spicy Caesar. The special cocktails were also delish, loved the?prince harry? Well done and thanks?

My 1st time here and I really liked it. I got the calamari and it was absolutely awesome. The chef special the pizza should be on their daily menu. I asked to be sit outside and the outdoor decor is relaxing and peaceful. I got so full. The staff was the best. They were all smiling and checking to make sure I was good. Even the General Manager (who recently started) was great.
