China Bowl Express - Charlotte

I?m so glad I gave this Take-Out Spot a chance! I read many of the conflicting reviews and even hesitated to order. But it was fresh and delicious! I ordered the Hunan Chicken Combo. It was reasonably priced and the portion was generous. The staff was fast friendly. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dish. The sauce was amazing. Next time I?ll take a picture first. I couldn?t stop eating after my first bite.

I ordered Mongolian beef, and the container only had mushrooms and a lot of sauce, only 5 pieces of meat, don't spend $11 on this

I cant imagine eating anywhere else on the West side of Charlotte to find great quality food at a fair price ,not to mention fast accurate and friendly service Love this place !!!!!!!!!

The wings were amazing (had the sweet spicy). I had the orange chicken and my wife had the general tso?s; both were very good and the portions are huge... I mean...I?m a fatty fatty no friends and I only less than half. We both ordered extra spicy...it was hot, but not close to ?thai hot.? Also ordered the crab rangoon which was good, but nothing exceptional. Will definitely eat there again.

Original Review: I come here once a week because it's part of a chain! The prices are good and the food is decent. The only downside is that they don’t offer soups. The owner mentioned that there isn’t enough space in the kitchen to make soup. How much space do you really need? I would love to have some egg drop soup! Also, they don’t provide utensils; you have to bring your own since it's in the neighborhood. Update 8.29.22: I have three different versions of their menu and they are slowly raising prices. Two years ago, I remember the wing combo with roasted rice was $7.25, and now it’s nearly $12! But I can’t really blame them for needing to increase prices over time. Just know you have a few more options for Chinese food in the area!
