Hawthorne's New York Pizza And Highland Creek

The pizza was good, but the service was lacking. The dining experience was quite disappointing. We went with a child and requested extra napkins, but they never arrived. I would consider takeout, but I won’t be dining in again.

Update 10/5/2022: Two years since our last visit, and we had the pleasure of being served by DeLeon, who was fantastic. The host, Jack, also made us feel welcome. Both of them really enhanced our experience. Today, we enjoyed the Hawthorne's Trio Carbonara, which was an excellent choice. I’m so glad we decided to stop by. We took a trip to Florida and drove through Charlotte for a few days, and I’m really happy this place is still around!

The food is usually good but today the sauce on my bowl of angel hair pasta was burnt very badly so all I can taste was burnt sauce. It was inedible which was a shame for the amount of money I spent getting it delivered through doordash. Had to find an alternative for lunch.
