The Wok - Charlotte

Found it! Of all the Asian restaurants on 16, this is it! We've tried them all, and The Wok wins, hands down! Every Wok dish we've tried and compared to others, The Wok has exceeded our expectations. If you're a fan of Hot Sour Soup, you have to try The Wok's. It's as close to perfection as I can imagine. Try the Sesame Tofu with Brocolli and/or the Beef Brocolli. Both are exceptional recipes. So good! So good!

If I had no other choice I would eat it again, but pretty terrible.

We have done take out from here for years and it was amazing, but recently we have been there twice and ordered our standard Singaporean Rice Noodles and they have been so saltly we can't eat them. We thought once might have been a mistake but the second order the next week was just as salty. Also they are now over cooking the crispy won ton noodles. Unfortunately we will be looking for a new place for take out.

It is take out only, but they are quick and good quality. They are exactly what you would expect from a Chinese restaurant.

Quality of food is decent enough considering there aren't many Asian options around, however this place gets one star because of the absolute complete lack of customer service. Obviously they have no idea what it takes to get repeat customers. Extreamly rude and ignorant lady every time. Our 4th time trying it out because of it's location, will never return. Terrible experience all 4 visits.
