Viva Chicken - Charlotte

Dora was great. She greeted me as soon as I walked in! Made me smile after a hard day! Great asset to this great team! Viva never disappoints!

Viva Chicken (any location) is, hands down, the best la brasa chicken in the Charlotte metro area, if not the East Coast.

Cute, quaint, clean establishment with friendly staff. Food cooked to order in an appropriate amount of time. Definitely have large portions for your money! My Peruvian fried rice with pulled chicken was huge. The chicken was delicious and full of flavor. The rice was mediocre at best. The green sauce served on the side was delicious, robust flavor and made the rice edible. My husband got roasted chicken with cilantro rice and yucca fries chicken was excellent but his rice was also bland and nothing special he didn't eat much of it. Kind of a let down for both types of rice. The fries have potential but could've been cooked a bit more so they were crispy instead of soft. But, if they're supposed to be soft instead of crispy, then they were done pretty well; we aren't fans of soft fries. Overall we agreed we would get chicken from there again but that's all.

Experience was great, Dora showed great hospitality. If I could clone her and put her in every restaurant there is, I would.

It is a very nice experience, Ms Dora was very kind and walked around taking my order and I felt confident due to the fact that she speaks my Spanish.
