The Bagel Shop - Chatham

We love the Bagel Shop! They are often our first or last stop in Chatham and have the best selection of bagel spread combos with excellent service and sizable portions. They were also incredibly accommodating when we asked if they would cater a 120-person Beachcomber bus trip. Bagel sandwiches bagels spreads muffins all hand delivered by the Manager and clearly labeled so people could grab and go. Would strongly recommend you stop here to start off your day and go for

Two tablespoons of chicken salad for an $11+ bagel sandwich is not acceptable. Total disappointment and clearly a tourist trap. Best you can do for a bagel shop in Chatham, but there are better breakfast and lunch options than this overpriced nonsense.

#1: They sell real bagels, not bagel-shaped bread like you often encounter outside of big cities. The bagels have a lot of flavor and just enough chew. Superb. #2: They have real lox. Actual slices of smoked salmon, not salmon-flavored spread. And the servings are generous #3: The people are nice and able to engage in dialog., This is a 100% quality operation.

Not enough staff, waited at the counter for 10 min. before being waited on. It was not crowded at all (we were the only ones at the the counter with 1 other party waiting for their order). We were ordering 6 bagels no cutting, no toasting, just in a bag with a tub of cream cheese, yet they took our name and again had to wait! Will never waste our time at this establishment. Yo Mama?s that used to be there was 100 times better with friendlier staff.
