Din Tai Fung - Chatswood

The dumplings are definitely what they are famous for!!! The rest is just very average food and over priced for what it is. Would just go for the dumplings if anything!

DTF in Taipei was a very memorable dining experience, and definitely the best xiao long bao I've had by far. While the Chatswood branch doesn't come close to the real deal, it still has some pretty decent xiao long baos. Sadly however, it's the only thing on the menu worth getting, as the selection of other dishes are  overpriced and very standard. However that being said, if I wanted xiao long bao in Chatswood I would still go New Shanghai, just because it's nice to get some variety with pan fried buns and other dishes. If I wanted standard Taiwanese food Baodao across the road is much cheaper and faster.

Delicious! Definitely try the xiao long bao and the truffle dumplings yum yum yum. The wait for a table isn't long and the food comes out fairly quickly. Good mannered and professional staff complete the great experience :)

Din Tai Fung is a Taiwanese dumpling house which consistently makes Xiao Long Bao that doesn't break or leak. The truffle dumplings were underwhelming but the spicy ones are my standard favorites.
