Clumpies Ice Cream Co - Chattanooga

I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. While they do offer a variety of dairy-free options, my husband and I were not impressed. He enjoyed his raspberry hibiscus sorbet, but my chocolate dairy-free ice cream was just okay. I suspect they used coconut milk as a base, which I'm not a fan of. My biggest issue was with the cleanliness of the restaurant. The bench seating was dirty and hadn't been cleaned, and all the tables were filthy. It was not a pleasant dining environment and we will not be returning.

I had the coconut-based chocolate ice cream at this restaurant and it was delicious. I really wanted to try the peanut butter cookie flavor but unfortunately they were out of it.

I was surprised to find that they had quite a selection of vegan options. I got the PB Black and White cookie flavor. There was a definite coconut undertone, but it was really, really good! It is advisable to phone in advance as they may not always offer vegan dishes. After receiving recommendations from multiple individuals, we made a special visit to Clumpies, only to discover that they did not have any vegan options available.
