El Jarocho - Checotah

This is a small restaurant in Checotah, Oklahoma, which is definitely not disappointed! Mexican food is our favorite and that certainly deserves all stars!!! Great atmosphere, prices are good, food is fantastic, serving waiting time is fast food hot, great presentation, portion sizes large, salsa is the best ever, medium-sized Margarita was HUGE, (you wonder how the big looks! I would definitely recommend the mixed parradilla! Bonus half parking space! Come back soon! Thank you!

This small restaurant in Checotah, Oklahoma, did not disappoint! Mexican cuisine is our favorite, and this place definitely deserves all the stars! The atmosphere is wonderful, prices are reasonable, and the food is fantastic. The service is quick, and the dishes are served hot with great presentation and generous portion sizes. The salsa is the best I’ve ever had, and the medium-sized Margarita was enormous (I can only imagine how big the large one must be!). I highly recommend the mixed parrilla! Plus, there’s a bonus with half a parking space! I’ll definitely be back soon. Thank you!

I visited El Jarocho three times, and each experience was disappointing. The food was subpar, the staff was rude and struggled to communicate effectively in English, which made ordering quite difficult. The Margarita was enjoyable, but they simply handed me the bottle of tequila, resulting in an overwhelming amount of alcohol. And as for the cheese dip, it was just unpleasant. Overall, I really tried to give this place a chance, but it just didn't work out.

Best tasting Mexican food by far and the best mojitos I've ever had!

I just ordered takeout from there, and it was really delicious. Happy Cinco de Mayo!
