Bidra med feedbackI thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Jamie's. The food was incredible, the ambiance was fantastic, and I especially appreciated the rustic look of the place. The staff was exceptional, very polite and attentive. The manager, Lucas, provided excellent recommendations for our meal and made our evening memorable. I will definitely be returning soon!
The restaurant is housed in a lovely building with a lively ambience, perfect for enjoying lunch or dinner. We were seated near the open kitchen, which provided an entertaining view of the chefs preparing pasta and working in the kitchen. The staff was friendly, although the service was a bit slow due to three large groups dining at the same time. The pumpkin ravioli was outstanding, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The pizza was also delicious, made with fresh and simple ingredients cooked to perfection. We would definitely return to this restaurant.
The restaurant experience was lacking in care. The food was overcooked and the sauce was dry. The bill came to £72 for three people. The pasta was somewhat solid, but the difficulty in voicing complaints was disheartening. The overall feeling left much to be desired for what should have been a good night out. The waiting staff, however, were great. It felt like being on a conveyor belt in terms of service. The food tasted like it could be from a £5 pub. It might be worth a try for those seeking disappointment and a quick change of pace. The supermarket-quality dishes were not far off from what was served to us on the 31st. I would not dine here again.
The WOW factor. my partner and I had a fantastic experience in jamies trattoria, chelmsford! all from the rustic decor, friendly service, the mouthwater food and even the toilets were perfect. ugly! we had a delicious aperol spray, everyone to die for meatballs, sprayed with prosecco! along with delicious, multi-ish garlic. followed by our amazing net, a delicate and tasty pork with a side of fries and kale Slav....wow kale Slav, a must try, I am addicted! I ordered the Italian hot pizza that burst with taste, best pizza I ever had and I love pizza. aaaa and I am very fussy because I eat good loouve! I don't know how we can...read more
Disappointed. I have NEVER written a review on a restaurant that I've visited before, but I was so underwhelmed by my lunch visit to Jamie's Trattoria yesterday that I felt compelled to write one now. Ordered a sparkling mineral water with some lime cordial in it waitress advised there was no lime cordial. Ordered a Homemade fiery ginger beer was advised that they didn't have the syrup to put in the drink to make it fiery. Ordered the Carbonara just wow (and not in a good way). The sauce was a translucent puddle in the bottom of the bowl with plain dry pasta on top with only about 6 pieces of panchetta. Bland would be an uplift to what this actually tasted like....read more
