Bidra med feedbackYou are greeted with open spaces of stands and tables when you first enter. The decor I would describe as eclectic; the hanging lights have different shades, different wall art, and characters even wooden canoes hanging on the ceiling! The largest part of the south wall is lined with hundreds of cups of club owners who have a loyal base of regular. On the map they had an excellent selection of interchangeable dishes, and we chose the garlic butter Pretzel Bites, served with honey mustard and an incredible bar cheese they make. The Pretzel Bites were fantastic, but the bark stole the show. We asked if they would make Mac n cheese with this cheese sauce because we would come back for it! I am a big fan of a good Barburger, and I saw the “Breakfast Burger” as a special feature on the chalkboard. That woke up my curiosity, so I had to ask what this burger was. It turns out it is a smash burger with 2 beef patties, 1 sausage patty, fried egg, caramelized onions, salad, tomatoes and Mayo. The burger comes with one side, so I chose her colleague. My wife had crushed and sunk the Bacon Jam Burger, with two three ounces of plaster, to chewing gum, with cheese, crispy roasted onions and the most incredible house made Speck Marmelade, which made the burger stand out! My wife was good enough to give me a bite, and the bacon jam was so good! I recommend that the breakfast Burger also get some of it! The food was fantastic, and so was the service. Stop for a pint and a burger when you find yourself in Chelsea! You will NOT be disappointed!
We decided to try the white fish chowder and pasty, and we were not disappointed. Owner Chris M. assisted us in pairing our meal with a great German beer, which was a delightful combination. Chelsea Alehouse also offered beer from Hahn on tap. The atmosphere was friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this place!
The restaurant offers a great selection of locally brewed beers from Michigan. However, I was disappointed by the slow service on Saturday. If you’re looking for a nice place to enjoy a drink without feeling overwhelmed, this spot is definitely worth checking out.
Appetizer was Dynamit Brezel Bisse) and we had shrimp tacos. That was very good. Peanut buttercake was dynamite again. Everything around was great. You were short, but you couldn't tell. Much hectic. Owner/bar tenderer/ waiter has done an extraordinary job. Back!
The food was excellent, and the staff was fantastic. We were hoping for a wider selection of their own beers, as they only had two, but overall it was still a wonderful visit!
