Chettinad Treat - Chennai (Madras)

I love these 3.5 pointers, no nonsense ones which we usually don’t prefer to go if given a choice. Chettinad Treat is one such restaurant. Formerly called Eataholics with IPL live screening. But it’s rather uninteresting and you don’t feel like going even if you see it daily.<br/ <br/ The restaurant and parking space was huge. Bigger than what I expected. But empty as expected. The restaurant was dimly lit and resembles a no nonsense bar where you don’t have to wear your shoes. I guess it’d be better that way. Make it a bar and put a TV in there, it’ll attract a lot of people. <br/ <br/ We ordered Idiyappam and Parotta. We were lucky to get the former as mostly it’d not be available at nighttime. Parotta wasn’t that great. Mutton Chukka gravy was brilliant but the pieces were few and chewy. Chicken Fried Rice was the usual and the recommended Chilly Prawn was really good. Loved the way the Prawn was fried before being put in the gravy.<br/ <br/ In all a decent experience for the money spent.

They take only 20 minutes to deliver food. In love with their service!! Been our favourite restaurant to order food nowadays. The egg fry is one among the best!!

Usually I don 't like south indian briyani but this restaurant 's briyani I love to have. Most of the time I ordered in home delivery. And they are good in it.

One of the best hotels in chennai, it is my favourite restaurant we go there every once in a while and the BIRYANI AND CHICKEN dishes are amazing and jus love the way! They make it!

As it's exactly located opposite to the street where my house is, we order door delivery often and have also been here several times. Even after several years, this place has been one of my favourites when it comes to chettinad dishes at a nominal rate. Door delivery is not very quick, but they inform us at what time they can deliver when we place the order itself and they keep up their promise. <br/ <br/ When we order parotta, chicken kuruma is given for free along with it and we don't even have to order any other kuruma as what they provide itself tastes good! All chettinad dishes taste good here. But I wouldn't recommend the chinese here, as it is not exactly chinese. The chinese items are indianized in their own way and I personally do not prefer it. <br/ <br/ The service can sometimes not be okay when we dine there. But since I only order food over the phone here, I do not have to bother much about this. The place has ample amount of parking space as well.
