I just love this place Sometimes we come here for work Happy Hours The atmosphere is amazing, and it's so refreshing to find a "Wine Pub".

I am rating this place highly only due to its location, venue and building.

The Boxing Hare was very friendly with friendly locals lovely helpful staff who explained certain aspects of the menu, helped my very fussy 84 year old Dad and according to my Dad kept a good pint...... what more can you want the food was hot tasty and plentiful, they served amazing bread cooked n their premises so fresh so tasty lovely

The food was excellent but we probably won’t go back unless we hear the service has improved. Our table was booked for 7.15pm and we waited an hour before our order was taken and then another hour before our food arrived. To be fair, some of our party arrived 15 minutes late and we apologised as we know this can cause problems for the staff. However, we would have appreciated an explanation or apology for the delay. By the time our dessert menu came we all felt it was too late to eat one so we didn’t order any. It was a shame as we all agreed the food was excellent.
