Bidra med feedbackIt used to be the best. Not sure if they are under new ownership, management or all new employees, but they are terrible. We miss the old Martin's Sould Food. You never answer the phone. Half the time they're out of the stuff they had ALWAYS. The food isn't almost as good and it seems you have to serve. So disappointing. They were awesome and super nice and great food. Too bad.
I got sides only, Mac and cheese and yams. Both were delicious and came in a nice sized container compared to the other Martins location. The only reason I didn?t give 5 stars is because I would?ve liked for there to be a veggie plate option (as many souls food places have) that comes with just sides rather than having to order them separately.
I used to eat there several times a week, but I stopped going because the food quality declined significantly. The last meal I ordered was so disappointing that I ended up taking it back and refusing to eat it.
Martin's offers delicious food at affordable prices in a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
My family hired Martin's on January 12, 2019, to cater for my sister's memorial. We ordered fried chicken, baked chicken, potatoes, green beans, and rolls. Unfortunately, the fried chicken was nearly inedible—extremely salty and burnt to a crisp. The green beans were oversaturated with salt and had a strong vinegar flavor. The only thing I could eat were the potatoes, but they lacked even basic seasoning like salt and pepper. Ultimately, my family decided to leave the meal and go to a restaurant because we couldn't eat the food from Martin's. There were over a hundred guests, apart from my family, who attended the funeral and reception, and we ended up leaving several trays of food behind, which suggests that the others may not have enjoyed it either. I would not recommend Martin's catering services for any future events.
