Rasoi Iv Authentic Indian Cuisine

I went to Rasoi again today. It is my 5th time dining there in the past week and a half. I have been in need of flavorful/spicy food and they have not disappointed. Everything I’ve had has always been excellent and all of the staff are super friendly. Overall, an awesome experience. I will say that I was second guessing my choice when I requested my chicken vindaloo to be spicy, “Indian spicy”. The food was extremely flavorful despite being way hotter than I had hoped (still ate it all in one sitting). Next time I’ll just stick with “spicy”. Again though, everything is wonderful. I will keep going back while I am in town. Thanks you!

Food was good. It was dead in the restaurant while I was there, and the food came quickly. The portions were large, so if you aren't pretty hungry, might want to share. Service was ehh...

This food is so good!! I by no means claim to remember what authentic Indian food tastes like but I was an exchange student in Hyderabad 10+ years ago and this food brings back memories. I ordered the Patel naan (owner specialty- it IS special, so good , the Kashmiri vegetarian biryani mild (comes with delicious raita that I ate before taking a photo! , and paneer tikka masala medium (similar to paneer butter masala? which came with more basmati rice. All of it is so good. I want to try all their foods now. On top of the food being amazing the service was also amazing! I ordered delivery through grubhub on a weeknight. Was informed there may be a delay, which I totally understood, but then the food wasn’t even delayed! They really did get it to me ASAP. I’m actually not a vegetarian but I lived with vegetarians in India and I’m here to tell all you non-veg people: try the vegetarian food!! You will love it!! We loved this place! I decided to try something new in the area. I hadn't been to an Indian restaurant in Virginia and decided to give this one a try. I ordered the Shahi Chicken Tikka (a little spice but not too much , Lamb Sheekh Kebab (delicious! , Garlic Naan (melts in your mouth and the Lamb Samosas (Life changing! My mouth is watery thinking about this . I don't know if the mildly sweet sauce included in the order was for the samosas but I dipped them in there and it was super tasty. I don't normally like ordering through Doordash because the food gets cold on the way but food was still hot and I live 15 minutes from the restaurant. All in all, the food was great and I will definitely be ordering again.

Our first experience here was truly memorable, from the friendly accommodation of the staff, to the delicious food and the kind stranger who paid for my family's dinner. We will be coming back again for our Indian cuisine fix. Highly recommend getting naan bread to dip in your curry.
