Bidra med feedbackWe have just had the most wonderful experience at our new favourite pub! Called in on the hop just to get a bite and check it out. Wonderful setting, interior and exterior absolutely beautiful. Staff were wonderful. Quick, really polite and attentive. Food-great selections available on menu. We had Caesar salad and the monkfish. It was first class. Really beautifully cooked and presented. Wine also very nice. Would have probably stayed longer but the annoying scousers complaining put us off! Not your fault the swan, we’ll be back!
Lovely village pub. We moored on the nearby canal and took a 10 minute walk in. Lovely atmosphere. Great food well cooked and presented a little on the pricey side to be honest. If I had one observation it was on service I sought some clarification on a meal I was ordering, the server clearly did not know the details of the food and worse could not understand why I was asking.
We visited on our narrowboat but really wanted to stay...forever!. From entering to leaving and without a booking we were looked after by Lillian and team in an amazing way. They made us feel very welcome and almost like we were regulars. The food was faultless (Double cheese burger, and 4 bar nibbles). We have recently travelled all over the country and this is one of the finest pubs (top 3) that we have been lucky enough to visit. Immaculately clean also which is pretty rare. Keep up the good work! Love from Dave and Rachel....Narrowboat Holly x
Visited from the canal at lunchtime on a Monday. Pub busy with pleasant atmosphere. Menu so good that had three courses and coffee all excellent. The crab starter and the gilt bream were cooked perfectly and flavoured well. Staff were friendly and professional. Definitely recommend.
A lovely traditional pub with great attention to detail and a warm welcome from the friendly and efficient staff. The Sunday roast pork was excellent, thank you for making our visit so enjoyable.
