Made In Italy

We made a reservation a few months in advance to ensure we got an early table. We had visited this restaurant twice before and had wonderful experiences with excellent food and service. Unfortunately, this time was not as great. The food was good but not exceptional and the service was slow and inattentive. We had to remind the staff about things that were forgotten. The restaurant is easily accessible for wheelchair users from the street and the toilets are adequate. Overall, I am not sure if I would make a special effort to visit this restaurant again.

The restaurant is widely known for its popularity, and I have to admit that I had no complaints about the food or service. However, the atmosphere was quite hectic when I visited, which I found to be a bit too noisy for my liking. If you prefer to have a peaceful dining experience, this might not be the best choice for you. I recommend making a reservation in advance to secure a table.

I and my friend are gluten-free. we had both delicious gf pizzas that were as good as the real Italian thing. my friend has chosen a goat cheese starter and swapped the brot to the gf. I had a natural gf starter. no separate Gf menu, but all pizza and pastawahlen can be customized to gf. they were well informed when we asked to have put articles in the menu

My friend and I are both gluten-free, so we were happy to find that this restaurant had delicious gluten-free pizzas that were just as tasty as the traditional Italian ones. My friend opted for a goat cheese starter and they were able to switch the bread to gluten-free. I went for a naturally gluten-free starter. While there wasn't a separate gluten-free menu, we were impressed that all pizza and pasta options could be adapted to gluten-free. The staff were knowledgeable and answered our questions about the menu items.

We were for only 3 nights in the Hoole area, discovered this place at our first night and would have eaten every night here, but they close on Tuesday (for a well-earned day). we hadn't booked a table in advance, but they squeezed us in even though it was overly busy. service was excellent, friendly, attentive, but not intrusive and also very helpful if they can not decide what they want to eat! eating is absolutely delicious, generous portions and very good value for money. highly recommended.
