Bidra med feedbackI had a fantastic lunch experience. We were greeted right away upon entering the restaurant. The service was quick, and our food arrived promptly. Everything was just as we ordered, and it was served hot. I would definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner, and I plan to return for dinner soon.
The first time here waitress was fine, but had no knowledge of the menu. Careful if you? interested in buying pasta you? ll be charged a base pasta price then an additional cost for the sauce, and each individual ingredient thereafter including mushrooms and paprika. Do you prefer to go to Carrabas if you are interested in buying pasta than you? ll pay more here (although not the same quality). Alcoholic drinks are good and the bartender was friendly. Oh, and they were made of free garlic bread.
For my son's birthday, my husband and I ordered a white pizza topped with bacon and black olives. The pizza cost $20 (thanks to our Dash Pass from DoorDash). I left a $7 tip for the delivery, which I thought was generous given the high gas prices. However, we ended up spending $27 on a pizza that arrived lukewarm, dry, and with a burnt crust. While the overall flavor was good, the experience was not enjoyable. I want to share this review because we recently dined at Antonio, and our second visit was even worse than the first. I cannot recommend Antonio.
I recently visited Antonio's Restaurant for the first time, and the atmosphere perfectly captures the essence of an Italian-American family establishment, with a charmingly vintage touch. A sweet elderly lady welcomed us at the door and escorted us to our table. Our waiter, Barry, greeted us with warmth and enthusiasm. We ordered our sodas—products from the Dr. Pepper line—which were mixed quite well. The menu was a bit challenging to read due to the small font used for the descriptions, which might be a concern for those with impaired vision needing assistance to place their orders. My partner opted for a whole Stromboli, which I encouraged them to save for leftovers. I initially wanted the Lobster Argo, but unfortunately, they were out of lobster, so I settled for the Shrimp Scallop Scampi instead. The meal came with a choice of soup or salad, and my salad was simply but expertly prepared with balsamic dressing. The greens were extremely fresh, displaying a focus on quality. The highlight of the meal was the authentic bread served with a delightful olive oil dip—I could enjoy that any time! As for the main course, my Shrimp Scampi was nearly perfect, and the garlic butter sauce was incredibly flavorful. My only quibble was that the garlic pieces were large and could be overwhelming; they reminded me of wasabi when they burned my tongue. The Stromboli was fantastic, made with the same dough as the bread, and it came with a side of flavorful tomato sauce, crafted with great attention to its natural taste. The structure of the Stromboli, with ingredients folded on one side, meant that the juices were concentrated, making the bottom a touch soggy as the dough absorbed them. However, leftover Stromboli still tasted delicious the next day! Overall, if you're looking for an outstanding Italian dinner that's a step above Olive Garden, I highly recommend visiting Antonio's Restaurant!
We were seated right away. The food was good. I had the veal in white wine butter sauce with wilted spinach. I also had the Caprese salad; the balsamic vinaigrette reduction was good. The only complaint is that the tomatoes were not sliced consistently. The atmosphere was nice and chill, waitress was very polite, booths were nice and spacious but a little low to the ground.
