Stone Hearth Inn Eatery - Chester

That's one of me to Vermont. The dining room has that Vermont feel fed with wooden beams with bar tapes and a stone fireplace. The staff is always friendly, the food is good, especially their blue cheese and maple Chipotle wings, and they have a great local beer selection!

Everyone was so friendly and the food was delish!! Owners Sheldon and Francie chatted with us. Tracie the bartender was wonderful and found something on tv for my grandson because the red Sox weren't playing. And finally, Gwen our waitress was refreshing and friendly. Oh, and can't forget Aggie the beautiful Golden Retriever ??One of their wonderful mascots. Can't wait to go back again!!

Nice atmosphere, good prices, nice place in town, for sure. Tavern is cozy and inviting. The food was good, but the service was very slow. Granted, it was a busy night, but it took about 10 minutes to get drinks, then about 40 minutes for our food to come out and the appetizer came basically with the entrees. We got one water refill and didn't get asked about another drink until we had been waiting for the check for 15 minutes. Again, it was very busy and our server was super pleasant, just probably could have used another person on the floor for support. All in all, the food was good, just go when it's not so busy! And definitely try the Brussels sprouts!!

Very reasonable prices, back patio is beautiful, inside has cool pub vibe. Dinner was good, husband had the special baby back ribs which were really good. My fish tacos were ok, I've had much better, but I've also had worse. Only real complaint, ordered their sigature wings as an app and they came out after meal, which came out very fast. It wasn't busy, yet we felt rushed. We will give it another try for sure. Great VT craft beer list.

The owner was very nice, the place is various shades of rustic, it is beautiful and it is comfortable. The beds we're nice and clean, the breakfast was simple, Continental style with some fresh fruit. The tavern has a great atmosphere and I enjoyed the burger I had there.
