Bidra med feedbackIn Chester??? I thought this was going to be another rough-around-the-edges local joint. Not! Classics with personality, adventurous combinations and stick-to-your-ribs belly-fillers. Pulled pork kale cups? Um, yes please. The cocktails are so inexpensive and the burger menu lets you be your own beefy Picasso. Can't wait to come back.
Absolutely fantastic! The food is incredible, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
The menu may not be extensive, but they excel at what they offer. It's a hidden gem! We took a chance while driving home from the outlets, and we're so glad we did. We enjoyed an excellent meal at a great price.
New Yorkers often flock to this hidden gem post-theater, but we, representing the more local, down-to-earth leaf-peeping crowd with refined tastes, were on the hunt for the good life and great culinary experiences. From the inviting teal-painted double-decker porch, we could see mason jars adorning the tables. Without having seen the menu until we were seated, we wondered if this place could really meet our expectations. Upon opening the menu, we exchanged smiles, thrilled by the array of mouthwatering options! We kicked things off with the duck confit bánh mì. The duck was tender and perfectly complemented by the fresh, crusty bread, while the daikon radish and pickled carrot added a delightful zing. Although it wasn't a traditional bánh mì and could have used some cucumber and cilantro, it was still a treat. The thick-cut house-made potato chips were a hit, especially when paired with the tangy chipotle remoulade mayo. Next, we enjoyed the white chicken chili, featuring navy beans and topped with cheddar cheese—a comforting dish that hit the spot after our fall foliage hike. It came with the Wyld Salad, which was topped with bacon and gorgonzola. Wyld Thyme boasts a diverse menu, and while we didn’t have our kids with us this time, we’re eager to return with friends and family. It’s a fantastic alternative for anyone tired of the Northampton scene, closer than the Dream Away, and arguably offering better food. Now that theater season has wrapped up, we find ourselves curious about what will draw people in next. Live music? Poetry readings? Winter snowshoeing? We’re excited to see what talent they bring to the table.
