The Bateman's Mill - Chesterfield

This is simply the best place to eat and drink in the area. I can't recommend it highly enough! The staff is courteous, the food is out of this world, and the beer is always perfectly crisp.

I always enjoy dining out. I had a buffalo burger recently, and it was hands down the best burger I've ever had! However, I was disappointed that it wouldn't be added back to the menu. I highly recommend trying it if you get the chance!

One of the best meals and service I ever had. I have been several times and the real ales, among them begien, are excellent for a beerkenner. eating is excellent with the menu change regularly. You can experience top knotch cuisine and be honest it was so delicious that I probably have eaten too much! the duck on a bed of haggis was to die and Sunday dinner is impeccable. compliments to the chef and save me a place! I will return!

Stopped here for 3 nights with family who travelled down from Scotland The rooms were perfect as was the food Staff were very friendly nothing was too much trouble we were made to feel very welcome Would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone looking to stop in the area or even just looking for a nice place to eat
