Radiance - Chiang Mai

The already written reviews are a bit hard. even if they offer a complete menu with meat (and many meat-free alternatives), their raw menu simply cannot be beaten in chiang mai. no other restaurant offers such a raw spread. I agree that it is confusing that they contain honey in some articles, but it is not unusual that restaurants classify honey as raw product. the raw vegan items that do not have honey are really very good. it is not cheap, raw food is never. the lasagne was delicious and I will go back to try some of the other options and desserts, some of which look amazing. I would have flopped out if I had given fish as someone else said, but I didn't have this problem. it is a long journey from chiang mai to find it in the district mae rim. it is very well signed.

We have booked in the resorts other restaurants in koh chang and koh samui so to stay in chang mai, think it would be similar. there is the usual huge menu with a mix of raw foods and veggie friendly foods, but from any reason the other restaurants are much better at the branding which dishes are vegan on the menu. the other two-way staff also generally had good enough understanding of veganism to know whether a dish could be made vegan or not. in chiang mai guess and we ask what we know from the other resorts as none of the employees seems to understand. the food we had was really delicious and enjoyable, even if the starter arrived after the main course or the fries arrived long after the tofu burger! the drinks are also fantastic when they come here they should try the tropical dream smoothie. we also have to say that we have experienced a first for us in Thailand a consistently grim member of the staff. I found myself to cheat on her. it is all a scandal, as the restaurant has a fantastic environment really quiet and great tasting eat. clearer menus, and more interesting and enthusiastic staff, would make this place unbeatable!

As I know the radiation in samui, the amazing food is we where not so impressed by the radiation in chiang mai. my sandwich came with laughs! next time with something else and we were there 5 days.
