Bar Moka Efti - Chiasso

A gentlemen’s retreat for a good coffee, to enjoy a few sips of Olia del Garda or a Nocino. Calm atmosphere instead of noisy football games on sundays, elegant guests and a copy of the corriere della sera as well as local newspapers :

Average bar but with a nice terrace and comfortable chairs. A nice place to stay with friends.

Nice bar along the road that from the highway ocita of noisso leads to the city center and Italy. However, it remains clear from the street, in the square on which it faces (if I don't remember badly it is called Boffalora square). The kindness of mauritius, the steward, and its collaborators make the difference. Attended at all hours, for breakfast, lunch or for a drink on the outside terrace. In case you're in a row, stop.

Today my father and I went to Bar Moka Efti for a coffee during a break in work, but I must say I was very disappointed. The coffee is very dark roasted so that the coffee loses all its taste and tastes like ash/coal; I had a Macchiato and, although I had a coffee lover and I have at least 4 of them a day, it totally burned my stomach so that an ashy aftertaste that stayed until lunch. The place itself is not bad considering that Chiasso is a dead city, and it offers both indoor and outdoor seating, but if you want a good coffee, avoid this place at all costs
