Carlo Lorenzetti - Chicago Heights

Carlos is my favorite restaurant on the south side! The staff is fantastic, creating a cozy atmosphere. The food is always consistent, and the service is exceptional! The owner, Buddy, is one of the most genuine people you'll ever meet. This is a proud family business, and it's hard to find a place like this. Highly recommend!

I hadn't been to this restaurant in years, and I was not disappointed upon my return. The food is reasonably priced and absolutely fantastic. The calamari was perfectly cooked, and my cod was excellent as well. Four people at our table ordered the crab-filled shrimp, and I must say that it might just be the best dish on the menu. The hot fudge cookie and the flourless chocolate cake were both delicious too. I only wish it were closer; we'd definitely be here all the time!

The food was fantastic, and our server was outstanding. You can really tell that the food is made from scratch. It's an excellent value. I've never had a bad meal there, and the service is consistently exceptional.

Food and staff are exceptional. This is a great place to go, the great food served at a reasonable price.
