Brgrbelly - Chicago

OK. OK. OK. I know you guys are expecting a taco review, but these burgers are off the chain! They were cooked on sunshine and sprinkled with happy thoughts and unbroken promises. I don't know how these guys consistently make burgers that taste like unicorns, and twinkle stars. But they do it. And the person who took our order must bathe in feathers and tickles, because she was wonderfully peppy. Their beer selection is great and no matter how picky you taste is you will find something you like. And I don't know where the cookie came from but holy smokes that was a good cookie! Now excuse me while I go run 3 1/2 miles to work off of some of this food. P.S.burgers may contain pork so check before consuming. P S.S I didn't take any pictures, I was so freaking hungry. Absolutely adorable decor as you step into this neighborhood local joint, filled with music legend memorabilia and tv's lit with tunes from Queen. The menu is simple with each burger having its own personality. Each sandwich can be made into a chicken sandwich or a meatless veggie option as well. Had the curds and Parmesan fries on the side. Cute trivia cards to entertain you and your table guests. Was excellent quality food, and wonderfully friendly service.

This place is amazing! What a gem. I came here with my family on a Sunday afternoon. No issue getting a table and there was also room on the patio if we had wanted to sit outside. The space is small and inviting, with music memorabilia all over the walls. Two women were working there, one at the register and one in the kitchen. They were both so kind and helpful. And the food...THE FOOD!!! It was unbelievable. I had the special burger of the month, which was the Prosciutto Thrill. It was one of the best burgers I have had maybe in my whole life, cooked to perfection. Everyone else loved their food as well. I also tried the garlic butter bombs, garlicky white cheddar cheese curds, house fries, and garlic parm fries: all amazing. Everyone gets an almost famous butter cookie with their meal, which was delicious. There's a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to choose from as well. The value for your money is outstanding here: I truly can't recommend it enough. Can't wait to return!

It's been a few years since I've been here, as Leadbelly became known as BRGRBELLY. My love and I came for a casual burger and fries and beer dinner on Friday, and I am glad that the quality level is still at a high level. I went with the Gallows Pole burger again and it is still yummy. My love enjoyed her Too Gouda Be True burger. We split an order of the garlic parmesan fries and they were scrumptious. We also dug our cans of local beers. The service was friendly and on point. I advise you to rock on over to BRGRBELLY for a still-tasty burger experience.

So this place got a 4.5 rating from others. burger belly sounds great the lady at the counter wouldn't even look me in n the eyes she was taking my order. I asked for an iced tea. I got a bottled tea with 25 g of sugar in it and I mentioned that to her that I cannot have a sugar drink she still wouldn't look me in the eye and just said oh, the burgers do look good, but just based on service alone, I wouldn't make this trip Place was dirty and filthy the white windows and clean the tables were dirty. The ambience ridiculous.
