Broken Barrel - Chicago

The back patio was lovely. Really liked the nachos, perfect sharing size for 4 people.

I've been here many times now with my friends. We play volleyball nearby and come for dinner afterwards during the summer. It's been convenient and that's about it. For a while I'd say the only thing worth getting is the wings but it seems like the other dishes are getting slightly better than before. Still, apps and entrees fall flat with flavor and I'm never into a fully cooked burger with no option of cook temp. That and I will say we've never sat inside, maybe once, but the outside area although looking nice, is uncomfortable and really loud. Be prepared to talk loudly to be heard by the person across the table. The entire outside area does not need audio to the game. Otherwise I'll say the staff is always exceptional, a 5stars for them. When in need, it will be convenient, but I will never go to Broken Barrel Bar for any other reason.Vegetarian options: Typical vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: Kids like a good screen to look at. This is a great place and the owners need to get rid of Ceaser before he runs it into the ground. Believe your staff. It may sound fantastical what they say he is doing, but believe the. This guy is only bad news and should not be trusted.

Absolutely amazing! There was plenty of free street parking. A very nice and walkable area. The resurant was really nice and well decorated inside with a lot of bar area. There were a ton of TVs. There was secluded outdoor seating. The ceiling had large skylights which was really nice. Mixed drinks were a little pricey but very good. The truffle fries were amazing. I also had the Mac n cheese with BBQ and jalapeños, and I highly recommend trying it. Definitely would recommend coming here!
