Cuetzala Gro - Chicago

What a Gem! We were in the area and this is one of the first Mexican restaurants that popped up. Honestly it was one of the best Mexican food We have had in the city. My wife ordered a sope de asada and it was the most delicious and freshest sope she’s ever had. I ordered a torta de milanesa with a side of rice and taco de chicharrón which was very delicious! i will definitely be making the trip back up there again from Pilsen soon!

Really nice people here and the portions are generous. Coffee is brewed fresh and really good. I had the nachos supreme and the guacamole and salsa was great. Service is excellent. I saw one cook hold the door for a lady with to-go bags (and the door is the opposite end of the store) and my server checked on me so many times and kept my coffee cup full.

My favorite restaurant since moving to the Rogers Park area. I come once a week and have tried several items and they are all good. (Burritos, enchiladas, costillas de puerco, costillas de res, pollo en mole) Super friendly service and really good complimentary chips and salsa when dining in. 10/10 would recommend a visit

The food was amazing! the rice is so flavorful, the beans are homemade and delicious and don't even get me started on the el pastor tacos! mouth watering deliciousness : this place is truly a little gem for Mexican food here in roger's park!!

You can tell that a lo of tradition and love goes into these meals. They made vegetarian enchiladas verdes for me, and they were some of the best I’ve had!
