Fiya - Chicago

I found out about this restaurant about 5 months ago, and I’ve only come back once a month since! The food is incredible, the atmosphere is nice and service is delightful. Let’s focus on the food though, as that’s why everyone is here. Hummus delicious, flavor and fun. Get the lamb, it’s a must have. Salad it has feta, dates, olives, green goddess dressing and when I first read those ingredients, I thought, ‘weird combo’. Then I tried it and damn was I wrong. So freaking tasty. Schnitzel crispy, tender and oh so Flavorful. Fries you have to get the fries. These are the best fries ever. They really are amazing. Every time I go with someone new, they always say, ‘I think we need another order of those’! You really can’t go wrong here. And right now if you go in, they have a warm apple cider cocktail which follows suit and was extremely flavorful. If you want all the flavors, come here!

Amazing experience. We dined outside in igloo and were nice and toasty while we ate and drank delicious delights. The service from all staff, especially Juan V, was amazing (it was very cold and rainy). Seriously one of the best dining experiences in the last 5 years in Chicago.

Food was delicious, but the restaurant was over priced. Falafel plate for 16$, hummus 16$. Minimum average is 50$ per person.

Enjoyed dinner with friends on a Saturday evening. The food and service were excellent. We had a reservation and were seated as soon as we arrived. The place was crowded and subsequently very noisy. The loud atmosphere made conversation difficult. Poor acoustics are my only criticism. That might be expected because of the weekend crowd.

Fantastic restaurant! We have dined here at least a handful of times. We have been able to sample almost everything on the menu. The highlights- Apps: Hummus with the best pitas in town! The halloumi is fantastic! The salad is fresh and delicious. Mains: Schnitzel is outstanding, as is the roasted chicken. The Moroccan fish is super flavorful. Dessert: Both the baklava and the cheese cake are fabulous! Cocktails: Unique and tasty creations, but on the weak side. I enjoyed the Jalisco and the Tel Aviv. The one aspect that has not been consistent is the service. Overall the service has been okay, but I would expect outstanding service, to match the quality of the food.
