The food at this restaurant is consistently average. You can expect the same quality every time. It's a good choice if you're looking for an affordable and straightforward meal, and you want to get in and out quickly. I would recommend it!

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The staff is always friendly, efficient, and as I visit often, they know me by name which makes me feel even more welcome. The menu offers typical diner fare at very reasonable prices.

Let me just say, this small corner restaurant is absolutely charming. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. Not to mention, the prices are more than reasonable for the portion sizes and service is quick. I have never had a negative experience here and proudly recommend it for a weekend breakfast spot!

My man and I are living in the neighbourhood and have always talked about stopping here. we decided to do so on a random Friday afternoon. I ordered the truthahnburger and he got suppe and salat. that was in order. our server was great. we'd come back.

I’ve been meaning to write a review for this spot for years! The LCR has been here for at least as long as I’ve lived in the area and I’m really glad it’s still here (i.e. that it’s survived the pandemic as well as the openings (and closings of some other fancier spots). Their breakfast food is great huge omelettes, fluffy French toast...okay grits, etc. and their portions make the already decent prices seem even better. Especially with the assortment of sides that you get with most choices. I have had some misses with their non-breakfast items, but I’m still willing to try more of them. The staff is friendly enough and at least one seems to recognize me, which is nice since I do t go there THAT often. They’re also fairly quick with food preparation as well. The interior is meh nothing fancy but nothing too off putting either. Maybe a few ripped seats here and there. I’ve rarely had to use the facilities there but seem to remember they could’ve used a little more elbow grease but the dining room itself is clean. It would be nice if their online presence worked better/at all. I always have to hunt for a menu using a different source other than the one on their website because it never works. If you’re looking for tasty food (especially breakfast), and nice and quick service that won’t hurt your wallet then this is definitely the spot for you.
