Scafuri Bakery - Chicago

This Italian bakery is located in Little Italy, Taylor St. directly opposite the Chicago Public Library. We got the pizza croissant and Lemon Baby Loaf and it was delicious. They are on the expensive side, but you can say the ingredients are of high quality. The staff was very friendly and accommodating very positive moods. The atmosphere and decor is very Italian with photos of the owner and her family.

I ordered 1 lb cookies and received them in excellent condition, fresh and really delicious? I also ordered the same for my son and his wife. They loved the cookies! Great work Scafuri!! I am an eternal customer!! My son and his family too!!

At the bottom right the best Canolli I've ever had - and I've eaten sooo many Canollis! Proper amount of lemon to meet the rich ricotta. That was impressive. They fill them in the place, but I saved mine for this evening and it was still excellent. My grandma came here when she lived in the neighborhood as a young girl. I can't believe it took me so long to stop. I'm back.

The cannoli were incredibly fresh and delicious! I would definitely return, and we actually went back the very next day. The service was excellent, and we enjoyed chatting with the staff. Although the selection appeared limited during our first visit around 3 PM, M mentioned that it was much larger when we returned the next day around 11 AM.

I accidentally discovered this bakery, and I'm so glad I did! The service was excellent, the cappuccino was perfect, and my hazelnut biscotti was delicious. I highly recommend this bakery and will definitely return!
