Bidra med feedbackI don't mean to be harsh, but this location really lacked flavor in their food. The rice tasted like it had been reheated from the day before. They definitely need to improve their seasoning because the dishes didn't have much taste. Some items we tried were just okay. Considering our bill was almost $100, I had high expectations coming in and left disappointed. On a positive note, the restaurant itself has a lot of space and is overall a nice spot, but we were the only ones there. In my opinion, they just need a new chef.
The atmosphere was lively, with energetic staff. The food was delicious and the cocktails were excellent. A fantastic dining experience overall!
There were three or four servers present, yet none of them checked in on us to see how everything was or if we needed anything. To the staff: how much more time do you need to spend chatting with each other? With just two customers at the table, it shouldn't be difficult to follow up occasionally. We had to ask for basic items like silverware, which should be a given. It was frustrating that the servers only approached us when we stood up to make our requests, like asking for silverware or plates that were forgotten. Even when we finished our meal, they seemed more focused on bringing the check than on ensuring we had everything we needed. What if we wanted dessert or coffee? An opportunity for upselling was missed. This establishment could greatly benefit from more training in hospitality and customer service. No matter how good the food is, without attentive service, customers are unlikely to return. Service is crucial to repeat business, and while the food is fantastic, it's essential to also improve the service. I visited the Fullerton location and hope to see improvements in the future!
The food is absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend it! The Cuban sandwich is fantastic, and the coffee is excellent quality—truly delightful.
