Sofitel Chicago Water Tower

The restaurant was crowded with rowdy business travelers. While my two glasses of wine were decent, I expected more for the $45 price tag— they should have been exceptional. I would have liked to be acknowledged by the bartender, but to her credit, she was dealing with an overly friendly patron named Bob and his friends. On a positive note, the artwork behind the bar was beautiful. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.

I visited this restaurant while in town for a wedding and stayed at the Sofitel. The bar opened at 3 PM, and we ended up visiting frequently. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was outstanding! I highly recommend trying the deviled eggs topped with caviar as an appetizer—they were absolutely divine!

This was a lovely bar in the hotel. They offered upscale, made-to-order drinks that weren't on the menu. The hostess and waitstaff were very friendly. I would definitely return when I'm in the area again.

Good food. But slow service and the drinks are nothing special. Reminds me of a generic hotel bar that you would find next to the airport in a town like Milwaukee, very disappointing for the area
