Bidra med feedbackI have to say, this place serves the most amazing tomahawk steak I've ever had! The bartender, Mike, was exceptional. I will definitely be returning multiple times!
I stayed at the Swissotel for a few days while in Chicago and decided to stop by The Palm for a couple of cocktails and a snack. The drinks were great the first night, but unfortunately the calamari dish was overcooked and lacked flavor. The bartender was very friendly and helpful during our first visit. On the second night, we returned for more drinks and the person who checked us in suggested we ask about happy hour. However, the same bartender from the first night seemed visibly annoyed when we inquired about the happy hour menu. We ordered a martini, Manhattan, and a wagyu burger. The drinks were not as expected, as they seemed mostly like vermouth, and the burger was not cooked to medium rare as requested and did not meet our expectations for the price of $20. It's possible that we may have chosen the wrong items for the kitchen to prepare. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel but I would not recommend wasting time at The Palm, especially with the moody bartender and average food.
We decided to take a break from our walk and stop in for a dessert at this restaurant. The service was excellent and they even gave us a booth to sit in. We enjoyed the tiramisu, creme brulee, and prosecco. We were pleasantly surprised by the small bill for our order. We look forward to returning for a full dinner in the future.
Love this place! The bar staff is friendly and the food is delish!
Very nice hotel restaurant. I had Cillian Sea Bass Oscar. It was excellent.
