Bidra med feedbackFor our main courses, we ordered the Salmon Poke, the Teriyaki Chicken with vegetables and noodles (Valley Dori), and the roasted shrimp plate accompanied by roasted asparagus, onion rings, and squash. We also tried three sushi rolls: the Shasta Roll, the Dev, and a classic California roll. To say the food was delicious would be an understatement! There was an abundance of food, rich flavors, and we had plenty left over to take home. Our waitress was attentive and as helpful as possible. Everything, from the spices and rice to the crispy tempura, sushi, and noodles, was cooked and presented perfectly and in a timely manner. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their extensive menu. One suggestion? It might be nice to create a separate area for couples seeking a more intimate dining experience, where they can converse without being overwhelmed by the noise of others.
Fantastic sushi! Just a quick edit: I had previously enjoyed takeout from here, which was amazing. However, dining in tonight was an even better experience. Though there was just one waitress, she truly exceeded expectations, and the sushi was on another level. I tipped her $50 on a bill over $100 because she was outstanding. Additionally, the kitchen handled a high volume of orders remarkably well, delivering our appetizer, five different rolls, and two orders of fried ice cream in intervals of no longer than 10-15 minutes. Overall, it was a great dining experience!
Super duper sushi. Best in Chico. Fast service and very friendly. Make sure you make reservations. Always busy. Update something happened that changed my last post. The restaurant changed from what I was used to. The interior has been changed so that I accept that it is a change of ownership. The service is still in place, but I felt that the quality of the sushi has changed. I would change my rating to 4. Also in the past the place was always packed with necessary reservations, now we went in and were sitting immediately. During the visit some tables were empty. I may be wrong, but next time I'd think twice, because it's something out of my way. I'm sorry, JP.
As long as You can get a place, this place is the best in the city for sushi. (updated) They have now expanded and got more seats. I sat in 5 minutes today. Was amazing as always.
I have always loved Japanese Blossoms since I moved to Chico and tried it. Hands down the best Sushi place in town. I know for a fact they utilize the freshest fish and crab as I spoke to the owner about their sourcing. Friendly staff and a modern atmosphere add to the experience. Be prepared to spend some money though as sushi isn't and shouldn't be cheap.
