The Plough - Chiltern

We held my Mum 's 'Celebration of Life ' at the Plough yesterday and thanks to Paola and Raphael it was more of a lovely party, which is exactly what Mum would have loved. I had told Paola that Mums favourite flowers were pink and they had put lots of lovely vases of fabulous arrangements around the pub, and not just a handful of Tuilips, but great vases of roses and all sorts. We also asked them to offer 'Bellini 's ' to people on arrival which they did and the wine was delicious as was all the food. The staff were friendly but professional and the chefs worked hard. A sad day was made bearable thanks to these guys and the setting was perfect for our 50 or so guests who sat in the comfortable chairs or mingled around the table and chairs. I would thoroughly recommend The Plough for any occassion. Thanks again to them all.

Lovely place, welcoming and friendly. The food is really excellent and the pizza exquisite. You can also buy wine by the glass if a bottle would be too much. Who would have thought you could find somewhere like this near Amersham. We will certainly be returning with family and friends. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Visited here on Saturday night for a family dinner. The decor was fantastic with a nod to Halloween. Food was delicious with really authentic Pizza's and a wonderful Beef Ragu. Service was exemplary and there was a good atmosphere in the restaurant. Highly recommended.

The Plough offers excellent food prepared to perfection, accompanied by superb service and a fantastic atmosphere. If you enjoy authentic Italian cuisine, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Had a really great time here. The staff were immediately welcoming and continued to be attentive and helpful throughout the evening. The food (especially the pizza) was without a doubt the best I’ve had outside Italy! The highlight, however, was the wine the owner was kind enough to show us around the shop attached to the restaurant and we went home with some lovely bottles. I’d highly recommend The Plough to anyone and will be back soon!
