Bidra med feedbackMy wife and I really enjoy Iceland restaurant for its burgers and fries. However, we were a bit disappointed this time as it took nearly 30 minutes from when we were seated and ordered to when the food finally arrived. Perhaps there weren't enough staff members on duty? Despite this, we'll likely return since it's conveniently close to our home. Hopefully, our next experience will be better.
It all started when the hostess wiped my lunch table right in front of me without asking me. He did. The restaurant is clean. Bathrooms are clean. This is a deal breaker for me and I appreciate clean bathrooms. The Brittany was my waitress and she was such a treasure. I actually meet a new friend in her and because of her service I will go back. Thanks for making my lunch so wonderful. I had to wash my blouse three times when I got the sauce over everything that's so creepy. I ordered the pineapple hamburger and it's a must when you visit this place. the staff The islands have always been so remarkable and if you see the customer service so, go back not only, but you recommend to all you know.
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The service was decent, but the food was terrible. The fries were cold and flavorless, and they tasted old and stale—as if they had been cooked hours earlier and just kept warm under a heat lamp. The burger was dry and below average. Overall, the food simply wasn't worth the price. I could have easily walked across the street to In-N-Out and had a much better meal.
Before the pandemic, Islands was always a family favorite for us. We were well-acquainted with the menu, and everyone would order their preferred dishes. During the pandemic shutdown, they attempted take-out service, but it just wasn't the same experience. Now that they’re open again, the service has been noticeably lacking. It seems either they are underutilized or have hired numerous inexperienced employees who aren’t properly trained. For instance, our fries arrived at the table a full 20 minutes after we got there. What went wrong? Unfortunately, this issue isn’t limited to Islands; it appears to be a widespread trend among many chain restaurants, all of which are struggling to find qualified staff. The quality of customer service has definitely declined.
I took my family to dinner and I enjoyed the atmosphere and really enjoyed the food. I was also impressed on how the waiter was on point. The manager also came up to check on how everything was going with our dinner which made the whole experience unique. I definitely would come back again and would recommend this location to anyone looking for an incredible night of fun and delicious food.
