Pizzeria Vigo - CHIOGGIA

We were staying at the Grande Italia hotel in Chioggia for the 3rd time but had never visited the pizzeria vigo just across from us. We had been out all day and only wanted a snack and not a full blown meal. Situated on the edge of the venetian lagoon the Pizzeria is a no frills no fuss eaterie. There are varieties of pizzas, toasted sandwiches etc. Beers and wine or water. Outside are wooden benches and you go inside to order at the counter. It's up to you if you choose to eat at a bench or take away. Obviously, if you eat there it would be served on a plate and cutlery given. It is all freshly cooked and very quick service. My husband and i did not expect much as it was cheap but thought we would try it. Absolutely brilliant! The pizza was tasty, cooked well and we went back twice! Would definitely recommend you try this place. All locals go here so you know it's good. Good service as well

We were very surprised by the quality of the pizza. We went here the first night because we wanted to eat easy and fast after a long day of traveling. But the quality was so good that we went there again after a couple of days. Also the staff is very friendly and are trying very hard to speak English : It can be crowded, during our week it was very popular among the locals and tourists.

Located at the very end of the main street of Chioggia, on the square at the laguna. It's frequented by tourists, but also by many locals. You order at the counter, they call your number out approx 15 mins later. Then you pick up your pizza and have dinner at one of the tables outside. Please note that at times it can get quite busy, so watch for a table before ordering. The pizza's we had were simply GREAT, no wonder this place is so busy. In addition, you dont pay much (about 20 euro for 2 pizza and 2 prosecco's). VERY RECOMMENDABLE place

A good pizza that was fashionable in italia in the 1970s: thin, small, well cooked. good topping, a wide choice. very simple settings for local people who would prefer to skip for once, regulate comfort. happy to have chosen it for a small, fast eating.

Squisita pizza.la migliore pizza di chioggia. Raccomando la pizza rotonda. poi il pizzaiolo chiamato luca e un vero maestro di pizza. ottimo consiglio. soprattutto l'estate con grande pubblico.
