Horizons - Chippewa Falls

Went in on a Saturday night, not a particularly busy one, and received terrible service from the bartender. She wasn't willing to even keep an eye out for drinks that were empty, pushed up to the edge of the bar for ten minutes. Had money out to pay the tab for at least ten to fifteen more minutes before she would even come over. Decent food, but service ruined it. I understand having to wait if the server is busy or has other priorities, but this wasn't the case here. Simply bad inattentive service.

Worst experience of my life. Service very slow and took over 50 minutes to get our food, mind you there were only 3 tables. I ordered the beef tenderloin cooked to medium. It was so over cooked and I personally don't like leather. They then tried to recook another one (in 2 to 3 minutes) No less. Well guess what it was still raw. When I questioned the waitress she said that there chef wasn't there. Who the hell was cooking my food then? The third time was half why edible but by now my husband has already finished his food. To top it of our waitress was the manager and she was rude and argumentative and thought she was doing us a favor by saying that she would pay for my meal. We have been to horizons for special events but this is the first time that we've ever gone there for supper and I cannot say enough that I would never recommend them not only due to food but the rudeness I think was even worst.

Went Friday night for pizza. Thin crust pizza had fresh toppings and tasted great. Service was prompt. Their salad bar was fresh and only $2 extra. Clam chowder was homemade and delicious. 16 pizza, salad bar for two and two beers was $36 With tip. We will definitely be back.

The staff and tables can be in short supply when the banquet hall is being used or at prime time. Otherwise they seem to do their best attending to everyone's needs. Try a little later in the evening after the rush. Food is good including their homemade pizza. Great place for cold beer and pizza.

Breaked in. Newly renovated and beautiful and clean. Bartender was very friendly. Fried Curds were very fast and a generous portion. Well mixed drinks.
