The Headless Mexican - Christchurch

Pretty hard to find if you aren't a local. Used Zomato to find somewhere nice to eat while visiting Christchurch. Called ahead to make a booking which probably wasn't needed. Service was great. Shown to our table and didn't need to wait long for our drink orders. Great selection of a mixture of Mexican and south American . Opted for the tasting platter which was amazing. Four meals to chose from. Flavors were amazing. I will return if I'm ever in Christchurch again..

The best Mexican food ever! This is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is excellent, and the service is superb. The meals are not only fresh and satisfying but also prepared quickly and beautifully presented.

This is a fantastic restaurant! The food is excellent, the staff are attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful. If you enjoy Mexican cuisine, you absolutely have to try The Headless Mexican. We'll definitely be making this a regular spot!

We really enjoyed our night out at the Headless Mexican last night. We were greated on arrival and shown to our table and given the menu to peruse. After just the right amount of time we were asked if we would like to order drinks and these arrived soon after. We ordered the cheese dip to share this was very tasty and we had no trouble finishing it. I liked how I could order a soft taco as I am not a big eater and it was just the right amount for me with lovely flavours. The main meal my husband ordered was certainly a decent size and tasted great with the spices. The shaken margarita was a highlight for me, I could have settled in to have a few more and I thought a good price at $12.00. Service was very good, the atmosphere was great, the restaurant was warm on a chilly evening and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

I have eaten here twice and the food was delicious both times. The atmosphere of the place is really nice, too. It has a lot of character! The location is splendid, too as you can go for a walk on the beach after dinner.
