Zaffron - Christchurch

Every time we have visited recently, we have been disappointed with the bland food. Today, we ordered cashew fried rice and yellow curry, both of which were tasteless and undercooked. The rice did not have any cashews in it. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

This small restaurant has a fantastic menu with plenty of delicious options that can be made vegan.

A few years ago, we had a disappointing experience at Zaffron. However, after perusing recent reviews on Happy Cow while searching for local Vietnamese cuisine, we decided to give Zaffron another try. This time, we were happy to see vegan options listed on the menu instead of having to disclose dietary requirements. The menu offered a variety of tasty dishes with excellent presentation. The staff provided outstanding service, understanding the importance of vegan options. We will definitely be returning to Zaffron in the future.
