The steaks were flavorful, but I wish they had been a little juicier. Is it really necessary for every dish to come with an unclear accompaniment? None of us at the table knew what it was, and we all disliked it. Everything is served a la carte, which causes the prices to climb depending on how “complete” we want our meal to be. Three of us ordered glasses of wine, and we found them to be not very generous. The glasses were a bit larger, but they were hardly filled to a third. Did I really pay for that? I will give Nicos another try, but I think I will wait a few months for them to get things sorted out. I hope to see improvements, as the experience we had was not worth the price we paid.
We (7 people) visited nicos on Wednesday night. the facility and the feeling of the restaurant are great. drinks were right. the salat (sweden salad) was very good, eating was cooked on request, and the service was attentive. as far as they were a new restaurant, they already seemed to work efficiently. I'm sure they'll get even better with a few more time udder their belts. a total of a 4. I hope they will stop it!
Great atmosphere and I really enjoyed the bar area. Unfortunately, the service was lacking. Our glasses were dirty, there was no serving equipment for our side dishes, and our steaks weren’t cooked to our liking. It's a lovely place that deserves better service.
I absolutely loved this restaurant! It has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the bar is well-stocked. I enjoyed the best vodka martini I've ever had there, and trust me, it's hard to find someone who can make a martini that meets my expectations. My waitress, Serena, was an absolute delight. The food was incredibly delicious. I can't wait to go back!
Nico’s is a long time coming for our South Bay neighborhood. The service is excellent. The menu is simple and reasonably priced, yet, interesting with just the right amount of choices. I was there a couple of months ago and had the pork spare ribs-no longer on the menu, please bring them back. Tonight we ate at the bar and had a spinach salad, calamari, and tune tar tare-very good. The food tasted very fresh, and was full of flavor while maintaining simplicity. The drink menu in the bar is very reasonable. For a party of three with about 5 cocktails and four appetizers our bill came to $89 and change. Service was prompt, friendly and professional. The one thing everybody should know about this restaurant is, please leave your babies at home and enjoy a sophisticated night out in the South Bay. Let’s set a precedent and have a place just for us grown ups. Support our local businesses! Go Nico’s!
