Green Derby - City of Elmira

It's been a long while since our last visit but we are very happy we came back again.The wife and I had deep fried fish fry's,she with baked potato,me with macaroni and cheese.The food was very good and I especially liked the mac and cheese which was not too gooey but very tasty with lots of macaroni.The wife had iced tea to drink and I had coke.The service was very good with the waitress staying in contact with us while we waited for our meal.The flow was very good.I will be telling friends and family about our visit and will be returning soon.Oh, the price was right for our evening for all that we got and could not eat.There will be plenty to eat!

Good beer marries fish fry. Mac... cheese on the money too. You like the Koleslawin that you have a little taste of it. Don't be hungry!

We ordered the fish frit, which included a generous portion of haddock, and I chose the homemade mac and cheese as a side—absolutely delicious! Both meals came with a roll and a side of coleslaw. The haddock was perfectly fried, encased in a light layer of breading. The total bill was $25, which I thought was a great value! We'll only be in town for a few more weeks, but I can't wait to return to this wonderful place!

We began with the wings, which were quite good. I ordered the fish rog with fries. I enjoyed the fish, but the fries were a bit undercooked. My wife had the Philly cheesesteak, and she thought it was just average. The staff was friendly and maintained a clean environment.

We ordered the fish fry to go, and it was delicious. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly and attentive as well.
