This modern Asian restaurant in Chinatown offers fantastic appetizers, curry, and pad thai. It's conveniently located near Soho, making it a great choice for a night out.
My friend and I were both eager to try Spice Market after passing by and admiring the impressive interior. However, I must say that the food and service were some of the worst I have ever experienced. The waiter was incredibly rude, despite his fake smile, and ignored our complaints about the slow service. He described the spring rolls as large, which was completely inaccurate. It is important for staff to know their menu before serving customers. The dipping sauce was terrible, and we would recommend skipping it. The starter was a disappointment, and the ginger fried rice was made with undercooked rice grains. Overall, our experience at Spice Market was unsatisfactory.
I enjoyed my dinner in barley buns, they tried to do something refreshingly different with a modern whirl on the rolls instead of simply copying directly what is already successful.
With a hotel on the edge of China Town in Soho, just behind Leicester Square, what’s the best way to serve afternoon tea?. W Hotel is a contemporary hotel, restaurant and bar that has embraced both location and fashion to serve an innovative take on afternoon tea. The W Spice tea includes savoury and sweet dishes with more than a nod to Asian cuisine. Beware though, all is not as it seems.
