The Finery - City of London,Westminster

My family group of 5 adults stopped at this pub after visiting nearby Swingers. The atmosphere was nice and the drinks and food were reasonably priced. We ordered 3 starters for £15, but ended up getting 6 starters. One of the starters came out significantly later for one of us, but it wasn't too much of a bother. The person with the hummus wanted more pitta bread, as there wasn't enough for the size of the hummus. We asked for more and were willing to pay for it, but our request was refused, even though there was still 15 minutes left before food stopped being served. It was a little disappointing, but not a huge issue.

First time I have visited the finery and it was a lovely experience. My family and I visited London for the weekend and we stopped off for a bite to eat and a quick drink! We were recommended the small plates and I’m so glad we were! Everything was just perfect! I was served by Oliver, I believe he was the manager (I hope that’s the right name, my memory is shocking!! He was ever so helpful and nothing was too much for him. It’s always nice when staff actually take the time to talk. We was also a bit at a loose end so he recommended places to see which was a great touch! Service isn’t just about the food but the whole experience and I can say everything was just lovely. A wonderful end to our day! When we are back in London I will definitely be sure to stop in again!

Unhelpfull manager and staff. Kitchen closed as there were too many of us , even though the booking was made 3months ago and they knew what to expect. Clearly too lazy to want the money. There was barely 150ppl in the venue and manager+security blatently lied that it is at full capacity and refused to let anymore of our party in. Whoever was in waited on avarage of 40mins for their drink to arrive. Absolutely mindblowing how someone in hospitality would be happy with just 20ppl in their bar instead of the 200+ that will spend their money their. We were told If you don 't like it, you can leave!

We stumbled upon this restaurant for lunch and it was fantastic. We tried a few sharing dishes and they were delicious. The staff even gave us a card so we can remember to visit again next time we're in London.

I stopped by on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by a fantastic shared platter. The price was very reasonable and the service was excellent. I will definitely be coming back in the future.
